Andy Laycock / I’ve been a passionate amateur photographer for 30 years and whether using film or digital I love the entire process of photography. I still get the same thrill of ‘being in the zone’ almost every time I go out. Sometimes it pays off and I get images I like, but most of the time it doesn’t. Regardless, it’s something that I am driven to do and will continue with it as long as possible.

Ania Lukzak / Ania was born in Poland and is a person who fit the stereotypical European sensibilities of an independent liberated woman, accent and all. Her photography changes depending on seasons. She enjoys telling a story through her photography and loves the feeling that capturing images gives her. IG @Aniatakesphotos

Ariel Huang / I have always appreciated the peace and focus I have while photographing the world around me. To me, doing street photography is a way of re-imagining the city that I'm in. It is also a way to examine and reconnect with myself. IG @arielhphoto

Barbara Strigel is a retired educator, photographer, collage artist and bookmaker living in Vancouver, British Columbia. In the tradition of street photographers, she values the split-second poetry that a camera reveals in unguarded moments and the sense of significance it confers on a human gesture. In post processing, she layers her street photographs with collage elements. In the same way that painters use color and form to draw out something essential about what is front of them, she uses Adobe Photoshop. Her work has been featured in the emerging artist drawers at the Blue Sky Gallery in Portland, recognized in the top 50 of Photo Lucida's Critical Mass, feature in an interview on Lenscratch and is represented by Art Rental Sales in Vancouver and Koslov Larsen in Houston.
