Join VanSPC and be part of a community dedicated to promoting street photography in Vancouver and beyond. As a member, you’ll get access to members only workshops, photo walks, meetups, and our photo book club—great opportunities to learn, connect, and keep developing your practice.

Membership also includes the chance to take part in group exhibitions (additional fees may apply), contribute to our zines and photo books, and have your work featured on our website and Instagram. Members also receive access to exclusive merchandise and discounts at select local retailers.

MEMBERSHIP FEES

• $60 per year for individuals

• $40 per year for individuals 65 or older

• $25 per year for students (please provide a valid student ID)

APPLICATION PROCESS

At VanSPC, we have a selection process to help ensure new members are a good fit for the collective. Our aim is to build a supportive, engaged community of photographers with a range of styles, perspectives, and approaches to street photography.

The process isn’t focused on technical skill and aesthetics—it primarily considers how applicants might contribute to and benefit from the group’s collaborative environment as well as commitment to and experience with street photography. We’re looking for people who are passionate about street photography and open to sharing, supporting, and actively taking part in group activities, exhibitions, and events.
