My Practice of Street Photography, Richard Sandler Talk

During the presentation, Richard will explore key aspects of his practice, including:

  1. Techniques for capturing unposed, authentic images of people in public spaces.

  2. Using "zone focusing" and selecting focal lengths to achieve discreet, spontaneous shots.

  3. Strategies for composing shots that convey a sense of place, atmosphere, and story.

  4. Developing a unique photographic eye by learning to “see” as a camera sees.

The session will close with a Q&A, providing attendees with a chance to ask Richard questions about his methods, challenges, and insights into street photography.  We’ll also have a photo walk in the area to practice some of the techniques Richard presents.
