MAY 2026: GRANVILLE ISLAND WALK
Once a gritty industrial manufacturing hub of factories and corrugated tin, Granville Island has transformed into one of Vancouver's most vibrant cultural sandboxes. To honour this mix of historic textures and modern brightness, we challenged our photographers with a colour assignment: isolate and shoot just one specific hue hidden across the island. From the weathered reds of old machinery structures to the bright pops of the Public Market, each photographer saw the island through a completely different lens. Browse the gallery below and see if you can guess who was assigned which colour!
