FEBRUARY 2026: CHINESE NEW YEAR
PARADE

On February 22, 2026, members of VanSPC gathered in Chinatown, Vancouver to photograph the Chinese New Year Parade, welcoming the Year of the Fire Horse. Surrounded by dragon processions, lion dancers, drums, and vibrant street celebrations, photographers documented moments of movement, colour, and cultural tradition as the festival unfolded through the neighbourhood’s historic streets.
