City parks are vital to urban life. When a rare snowfall blankets Central Park in Burnaby, the snow is soon deep with the footprints of people rushing out to play. It’s a place for me as a photographer to be in sync with the softer side of life in the city.
Ted Nodwell is a former commercial and advertising photographer with assignments from the Arctic to the Everglades, and from Japan to Long Island. His photographs have been included in exhibitions in China and Italy, and locally at the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden, Burnaby Art Gallery, Richmond Cultural Centre, the Museum of Vancouver and in exhibitions curated by the Whistler Arts Council and the Vancouver Street Photography Collective.
